I’ve never done Barre – what do I need to bring?
Do I have to pay on-line, or can I pay in person?
What should I wear to class?
Is the studio hot for all classes?
What is the appropriate etiquette for Yoga?
Please remove shoes prior to entering the studio. Changing rooms are available for switching out of street clothes. Please do not bring cell phones into the studio. Refrain from wearing strong colognes or perfumes in class. There is no talking during class. If you need to take a break, simply sit or lay quietly on your mat. If you need to leave class at any time, please do so between poses. At the end of class, please leave the room in a quiet manner, being mindful that others use that time for silent meditation.
How often should I practice Yoga?
3-5 times a week is recommended for beginners, if you can fit it into your schedule and budget. Many people practice yoga daily.
How should I prepare for class?
Come on an empty stomach, but be well-hydrated. Please eat 1-2 hours prior to class and always be sure to drink water before, during, and after class to stay hydrated.
What if I don’t have a yoga mat?
Yoga Mats are available for rent at the studio. Tank tops, shirts, yoga mats, Barre socks, decals, and headbands are also available for purchase at the studio.
What should I bring to class?
Please bring your yoga mat, a towel, a bottle of water, and a positive attitude.
How early should I arrive for class?
Please arrive at the studio 5-10 minutes before class begins to sign in, so you are ready to begin when class starts. Please remove your shoes in the hallway and leave your outer clothing and shoes under the bench in the studio.
